MEET JENNIFER
OUR ARTIST IN RESIDENCE

Hi! I’m Rebecca Monet, a Student of Holbein and Resident Artist for Simply Tudor Tours.

My ancestors hailed from Norfolk, and in the summer of 2023, I had the extraordinary privilege of staying at one of their former homes—The Old Hall near Norwich—now lovingly restored by Brigitte and Tom Webster of TudorExperience.com.

Fueled by my lifelong fascination with history, I published the Queen Anne Boleyn Paper Doll Book in 2020. As a passionate artist, this project sparked a desire to keep blending art and history, which led to the creation of my YouTube series, Holbein & History. In each episode, I sketch and chat with writers, historians, and fellow enthusiasts from across the historical community. My goal is to help others feel a deep connection to the past, while honouring the brilliance of Holbein’s style and technique. I have now partnered with Simply Tudor Tours to make that happen.
